Donna was in her usual sparkling form as she astonished many with her amazingly insightful and knowledgeable lecture on challenging behaviours.  The question and answer session after the break was a real treat – with her professional and personal experiences lending a depth of understanding and has to be heard to be believed, she ably fielded questions from professionals and family members in the audience.

alicia wengler
Our first speaker was Alicia Wengler, another local teenager, who spoke movingly about how having Asperger’s syndrome affects her life – and how proud she is of being an Aspie.  She was engaging, confident, very competent and thoroughly interesting to listen to, illustrating her speech with stunning examples of her obvious talent in artwork.
