further details

As well as a brief overview of the Autism Act, 2009 and its implications for all concerned, this event will give invaluable insights into living life on the Autism Spectrum, offering strategies and ideas for everyone working and/or living with autistic children and adults.  Essential information for professionals from all services, including Education, Health and Social Care, Commissioners, Service Developers, Mental Health and Learning Disability Teams, General Practitioners and those working for Emergency Services; and equally valuable for parents, grandparents and other family members as well as people on the Autism Spectrum.

Our speakers with AS have all faced very difficult and challenging episodes in their lives.  Their motivation and ability to overcome so much is awesome – as is their refreshing openness and wish to pass on insightful information and strategies to help others. Prepare to be incredibly impressed! The afternoon will include a questions and answers session.

Booking Fees: Professionals £30 plus vat; People with ASC/Family members £20 plus vat
